This year has already been full of amazing things, but winning that award and celebrating our 2nd anniversary at the same time was definitely an overwhelming experience in the best possible way. This weekend we are celebrating our 2nd anniversary! What an incredible ride this has been, full of challenges, excitement, new plants and the best part… full of new friends.
I had no friends when I moved to NJ in 2022, and today I can say I met some of the best people at TPLH, kind people that love nature as much as I do, we shared laughter, tears, amazing stories and a lot of plant knowledge. Finding my people was so easy and fun, all because you decided to come and be part of our routine, you gave us a chance and now we are growing together.
Thank you to everyone who has been following our journey and supporting our small business. The small way we found to show our appreciation is by offering (FOR THE FIRST TIME) 20%OFF on all plants and plant products in the shop. This entire weekend - Friday 29th, Saturday 30th and Sunday 31th.

Hi, my name is Núbia and I am a tree hugger. There, the truth is out hahaha
I know this is not something everyone can relate to, but being a plant person my entire life I find it hard to avoid hugging my friends sometimes (plants and people).
This is Ivolethe, my gorgeous Norfolk Pine Tree. She was given to me by a friend who was given it to by someone else. I immediately felt connected to this plant (plant people will understand the feeling).
Months after she moved into my shop, this older lady came in and told me she was the original owner of Ivoleth and came in to check on her, she told me the exact month and year she herself clipped and started a cutting that turned into Ivolethe… and it was the month and year I was born exactly.
I don’t know, I guess it is silly to think that I was born somewhere in Brasil while she was growing her roots in NJ and after all these years we are now together for life. I will go before her and she will be passed on to my loved ones.
That’s nature, my friends. Allow yourself to connect with it today and always.

It is no secret that Begonias are my favorite plants, but what’s been going on with hoyas lately? 😍 More and more I have been falling in love with them. They have the most beautiful flowers that smell AMAZING, and their nectar is delicious!!! They want ALL THE SUN! As much sun as you can give them, and don’t forget to use some good organic fertilizer to see those blooms.
